David Beckham has finally sold the Madrid mansion he put on the market nearly a decade ago in a lucrative deal which made him more than £1million profit. He bought the five-bed house in La Moraleja for £3 million in 2005. Then spent £350,000 refurbishing the house after his move to Real Madrid Club. A Spanish businessman has bought home in Madrid suburb for £4.2million. David and wife Victoria had their hopes of a quick sale dashed when Spanish property prices collapsed in the recession, after David's 2007 move to the States. The two-storey Tuscan-style palace sat empty while the couple enjoyed the glamour of Los Angeles, before moving back to London.
