She is the envy of women worldwide for her supermodel figure, but it sounds like keeping up with Miranda Kerr's exercise regime is no easy feat. The Australian model, who rose to prominence in 2007 as a Victoria's Secret Angel, has opened up about keeping fit, something that is "really important" to her. Miranda even gets a helping hand from her four-year-old son Flynn, from her previous marriage to Orlando Bloom. The 32-year-old said she likes to "mix things up" and does everything from "resistance training to yoga, hiking to going for a bike ride with my son." Miranda Kerr drinks two to three litres of alkaline water a day. "I try to do at least half an hour of yoga every day," Miranda told Your Fitness magazine. "And then I add Pilates and some strength training with weights and resistance bands to elongate and tone my muscles." The September cover girl of HELLO! Fashion Monthly added: "I've been doing yoga for over 12 years now – I like the [physical and mental] effect it has on my body. I used to do gymnastics so yoga really works for me to keep that core strength and flexibility." The model also enjoys going for a bike ride with her son Flynn Miranda, who is currently dating Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel, balances her hard-core exercise regime with healthy eating. "I like to start the day off right with something healthy and clean like a fresh juice, egg whites with avocado or oatmeal," she said. She avoids bingeing on junk food and prefers to carry around healthy snacks such as "fresh fruit, nuts and seeds". On top of this, she follows an alkaline-based diet and drinks two to three litres of alkaline water every day, following in the footsteps of fellow Australian model Elle Macpherson. She starts the day with "something healthy and clean like a fresh juice, egg whites with avocado or oatmeal" Last month Miranda was spotted kissing new love interest Evan, 25, while out on a date in a restaurant. The pair looked happy and relaxed and according to fellow diners, they couldn't keep their eyes off each other. But the single mum is no doubt keeping her young son her priority. "I'm really lucky that I live in New York," said Miranda. "My son is at such a great age, and it's wonderful to explore the city with him. I take him to the park, to the farmers' market, to the playground – we go out for an adventure. "It's great looking at the world through his eyes. I love the sense of amazement and wonderment in him, and try to capture that for myself – to discover something new every day."
