As part of efforts to improve the health condition in Lagos East Senatorial district, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, representing the senatorial zone has donated a 16-seater bus to the Ikorodu General Hospital.
Ashafa who made the donation of the bus through the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Ikorodu Central, Mr. Rilwan Junaid also gave financial assistance to the hospital to enable them buy medical supplies.
According to him, there was no effort too much to spare in assisting the healthcare value chain to perform their duties more efficiently.
The senator said his donation was to help complement the efforts of the state government towards providing the people of Lagos with quality healthcare delivery. He explained that as part of his campaign promises towards improving healthcare services in his constituency, it was necessary to donate the bus to the hospital.
