Ashley Kaidel, 24, said that on November 24, she was breastfeeding her son, uncovered, in a restaurant and a woman nearby shook her head and gave her a dirty look. In response, Ashley posted a picture of herself staring defiantly back at the other diner, adding a message encouraging other woman not to feel ashamed. She noted that breastfeeding in public is protected by US laws, and added that breasts are made to sustain life. The Florida resident also said that it's 'selfish' to expect nursing mothers to be excluded from gatherings at feeding time - and if other people have a problem with it, they can either look away or change their perspective.
