John Boyega Treats Harrison Ford To Some Local Nigerian Food In London

In celebration of his new role in the blockbuster movie Star Wars, John Boyega took co-star Harrison Ford to a restaurant for some Nigerian food.

The 23-year-old British-born Nigerian actor treated the American movie star to a meal at a Nigerian eatery in Old Kent, South East London.
According to The Standard, the mini celebration happened just after Boyega landed the role in the seventh episode of the American epic film.
Boyega reportedly told The Standard that he took the 73-year-old American actor around town to the neighbourhood he lived as a little boy.
He added that: “In order to break Harrison into the London culture I took him to the Old Kent Road to have some Nigerian food – and he loved it.”
Ford had the local Nigerian egusi soup and pounded yam and some cocktail in addition.
John Boyega was born in Peckham, London to Nigerian parents. He started acting at the age of five and ended up reading Performing Arts in Southern Thames College, Wandsworth.
