Sir Terry Wogan's last words reveal he was still the same cheerful soul that won the nation's hearts in death as he was in life.
The broadcasting legend told his priest friend Father Brian D'Arcy 'everything is going to be all right, old boy,' as he lay dying from cancer.
He was able to spend one last Christmas laughing with his family before being told that his illness was terminal three weeks ago, it emerged yesterday.
His BBC Radio 2 successor Chris Evans (pictured main and, top right with Wogan) also paid an emotional tribute to the broadcaster, while a book of condolences has been opened in his home city of Limerick, Ireland (pictured bottom right).
