She was just like any other customer that patronizes Apples Fried Chicken, a popular eatery in the commercial city of Aba, Abia State.
Sometime last November, she came as usual and bought some items. As she was making her way, a staff of the company politely approached her with the request to enter for a raffle draw as the firm was into what it called “Apples chop and win promo, 2015”.
The woman was simply not keen, nevertheless she asked a staff of the company to fill the necessary forms for her and she then left.
This was repeated each time she called to buy her favourites from the eatery. After a short while, Mrs Uche Chinonye Ihejirika was to become a proud owner of a Hyundai car.
At the last quarter of last year, the eatery had started a raffle draw programme aimed at appreciating and giving back to their numerous customers for their patronage and loyalty over the years.
At the raffle draw, a housewife, Mrs. Ihejirika emerged the star prize winner.
