'I get paid six figures to travel the world!' Former financial adviser now makes MORE money being paid to write about her global adventure - but still loves getting home

It's every travel fan's dream - to get paid to go around the globe - but for one blogger, the fantasy has become a lucrative reality. Christy Woodrow, 36, from San Diego, gave up her bookkeeping business to be a full-time travel journalist - and now gets paid huge sums to visit places like Aruba (left) where she fed flamingoes and Cabo, Mexico (right) where she enjoyed a solo trip. 

She began blogging after a six-week trip to South East Asia with her boyfriend Scott (inset).
