Road safety inspector Daria Pletneva (left) had to compete against seven others from across Russia for the title, which she won at an awards ceremony in St Petersburg.
The 27-year-old (bottom right in the middle), who has a two-year-old son, impressed judges during two talent shows on the night when she performed a song and dance routine.
Lieutenant of internal service, Valeria Kostyna and Svetlana Skripina, who works as an inspector of criminal investigations, were runners-up.
