Spring is here... so it's time to hit the beach! Britons flock to the seaside as temperatures hit a balmy 14C

It may only be March but that hasn't stopped many Brits enjoying the mild weather with a trip to the beach. 

And the blue skies are set to continue into next week with highs of 15C (59F). 

According to the Met Office the recent heavy fog is expected to clear and the week ahead will be mostly dry for everyone. 

The highest temperature recorded in Britain today was at the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland which reached 14.4C. Above, crowds relax on Brighton beach.
