That's one way to make a statement! Mom shares image of herself nursing her baby on the beach while dressed as a MERMAID to hit back at public breastfeeding critics

The mom from Kailua, Hawaii, who is known as Mermaid Aubrie on social media, took to Instagram to share a photo of herself nursing her one-year-old daughter Ocean Luna. 

In the image, Aubrie and her daughter are wearing nothing but blue mermaid fins and flower crowns. 

While Aubrey looks at the camera, Ocean is happily nursing, completing unaware that her photo is being taken. 

The photo seems to be inspired by the one and only instance that another woman tried to shame Aubrie for breastfeeding in public.
