US woman applies a full face of make-up while in LABOUR, turning her hospital room into a beauty parlour so she can give birth to her baby daughter looking 'glam'

Professional make-up artist Alaha Majid, 27, from New York City, welcomed her daughter Sofia Alaya Karimi on February 15, but not before she had applied a full face of very glamorous cosmetics, including foundation, contour and false eyelashes. 

The make-up artist revealed that she would pause whenever she felt a contraction, before carrying on when the pain had passed. 

But when her contractions became too much for her to manage, her 'hubby' took over her make-up and finished her face for her.
