And who might this beauty be? Kate views her new photographs shot for Vogue as she attends National Portrait Gallery event in head-to-toe pastel pink

The Duchess of Cambridge, 34, visited the National Portrait Gallery in London this evening to view the Vogue 100: A Century of Style exhibition wearing a pale pink Alexander McQueen dress with a low-cut neckline.

Kate paired the blush ensemble with nude court shoes and a structured box bag (right). It was the first time Kate had seen the two photographs of herself displayed in the gallery (left). The stunning images were taken as part of a wider spread for British Vogue's centenary June issue (inset). The National Portrait Gallery, which the Duchess has been Patron of since 2012, collaborated with British Vogue on the series, shot by photographer Josh Olins in the Norfolk countryside, and styled by Vogue Fashion Director Lucinda Chambers. It shows Kate in typical country style, although she can also be seen wearing a daring £312 denim jumpsuit. The Duchess - a keen photographer herself, having taken official pictures of her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte - discussed photography with Olins as well as the decision-making process. She said of the portraits: 'It doesn't look like January. You did a very good job.'
