DIY boss gave cancer sufferer employee his dream house by secretly hiring team of 50 builders to transform his family home

When Keith Ellick (inset, left), of Lincoln, was diagnosed with terminal cancer, his boss Addam Smith (inset, right) was desperate to do something to help lift his spirits - and ended up transforming his two-bedroom home. 



Mr Smith managed to enlist 50 generous builders, who gave up days off and evenings to install new flooring, a new kitchen (right) and bathroom, decorate the lounge (bottom left) and landscape the back garden - all in just seven days. Father-of-five Mr Ellick has said the tradesmen's kindness of spirit has left him 'humbled'. 'I can't thank Addam and everyone else enough,' he added.
