Savvy world traveller who never pays for flights reveals how he booked a $25,000 holiday with business-class seats and five-star hotel rooms for less than $2,000
Air miles expert Gilbert Ott, from New York, and his wife, Laura Burns, racked up enough points to cover the cost of their flights and took advantage of promotions to score rooms in swanky hotels in places such as Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Using more than 200,000 air miles, the pair spent just $366 on airfare that would have cost more than $23,000 if they had paid cash.
