The dramatic Los Angeles-based reality show debuted on May 31, 2006, and ran for six seasons, ending in 2010. 


The show, a spinoff of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County based around Lauren Conrad (left) spawned the careers of several reality stars such as Heidi Montag (center left), Spencer Pratt (center right) and Brody Jenner (right).
