Anderson Cooper opened the doors to his Brazilian vacation home in the new issue of Architectural Digest .
The CNN anchor reveals that he made the decision to by the tropical property, located in the town of Trancosco, with pal Andy Cohen and longtime partner Ben Masiani in 2013, despite the fact that it is a 14 hour journey from his Manhattan townhouse. 'Within a day I was fantasizing about buying a house there,' said Cooper. 'Ben thought I'd lost my mind, and Andy, who is encouraging about almost everything, thought I was nuts, too.'
