'Chemo was tough but I was tougher!' Baby who developed cancer while still in the WOMB survives aggressive treatment he started at just 16 days old

Doctors discovered Everett Pepin had a type of eye cancer, during a scan at two weeks old. He started chemotherapy days later under care of a doctor who treated his mother for the same disease. Parents Lizette and Katherine Pepin (right) documented his progress with pictures. 


They shared one of him celebrating his last chemotherapy sessions on Instagram which has had thousands of likes. Mother Lizette, who survived the same cancer years as a child, said: 'He's brave and brilliant. 'He is always giggling and all the nurses and doctors know him.'
