Award-winning documentary maker Katinka Newman, 51, was diagnosed with depression following her marital break-up.
After visiting a private Harley Street psychiatrist, she was diagnosed with the antidepressant drug, escitalopram. But she suffered an adverse reaction to the drug which cause her to self-harm, hallucinate and contemplate suicide. Her new book The Pill That Steals Lives reveals her experiences.
