Girl, 7, fights for life after being struck down by meningitis just weeks after being a bridesmaid at her parents' wedding

Brogan-Lei Partridge, from Birmingham, was left fighting for survival (left) less than a fortnight after she was a bridesmaid at her parents' wedding (bottom middle).

Doctors first thought she had an eye infection and gave her antibiotics but her parents rushed her to hospital after she developed a rash (top middle). She is now facing surgery to remove toes on her left foot. Now Brogan is responding to treatment but faces having toes from her left leg amputated and skin grafts on both legs. Her mother Aimee said: 'All the little things we thought were important to us suddenly aren't any more.'
