Girl, seven, who wrote to David Cameron because she was 'sad he had to quit his job' receives a reply from the former PM saying it 'meant the world' to him

Charlotte McLellan, seven, from Huddersfield was warned by her mum Nicola, 36, that she might not get a reply from Mr Cameron, but got one within a couple of weeks expressing his gratitude. 


The former Prime Minister said he 'deeply appreciated' the letter and was 'profoundly grateful' for her support. Despite her initial sadness, the bright youngster is happy with Theresa May's appointment.
