'I can't wear anything but fluffy slippers': Mystery growth on teenager's foot has baffled doctors and left her unable to wear shoes or go to work

Terri Aspin (left), from Blackburn, had her little toe on her left foot amputated aged six, but she claims surgeons left a little piece of bone which went on to grow into a tumour (top right).

Now the 18-year-old suffers daily agony and can only wear slippers because the pain has become unbearable. She also has to walk on the side of her feet as the painful tumour spreads along the bottom of her foot (bottom right). And Miss Aspin was recently let go from her waitressing job because her employers could see how much pain she was in. But she is now desperate for it to be removed and has created a funding page for private surgery.
