Is it seemly that the Royals are such a crass ad for Land Rover? Car-maker receives very favourable publicity from their special relationship with Royals

It seems this special relationship with the Royals dates back almost 70 years and the company is involved in a multi-layered financial arrangement to loan them cars. 


The Queen is thought to have had no fewer than 30 Land Rovers, most of which have been loaned to her at 'prestige' rates - heavy discounts for VIPs - some loaned free of charge and some bought outright. Meanwhile other royals spotted in their cars or wearing their merchandise include Prince William, Prince Harry, the Duchess of Cambridge and her sister Pippa Middleton.
