Britain's brightest child and her VERY pushy mother: Rhea, 10, is crowned winner of Channel 4's Child Genius (but not before mum stepped in to point out her competitors' mistakes)
Ten-year-old Rhea has been officially crowned Britain's brightest child after triumphing in a tense final of Child Genius where she was asked to spell words most didn't know exist.
The fiercely intelligent youngster, who goes to a private school in London and has ambitions to be a doctor, got her hands on the coveted trophy having spelt the words eleemosynary, polydactylous, anachronism and thelytokous. She demonstrated her impressive IQ, which puts her in the top 0.2 per cent of the country, when navigating questions on art, maths and history that left most viewers flummoxed.
