The Duke of Westminster - who was Britain's third richest man - has died age 64.
It is understood the father-of-four, worth an estimated £9billion, had a heart attack at Abbeystead House in Lancashire (top left), his grouse shooting estate. Gerald Grosvenor, the 6th Duke, was the richest property developer in the UK, whose vast wealth comes from estates in Oxford, Cheshire, and Scotland as well as huge swathes of Mayfair and Belgravia. His tragic death means that his son Hugh (inset right and bottom left as a baby with his father and mother Natalia Grosvenor, Duchess of Westminster), 25, will now inherit the entire estate, including the family seat in Cheshire, Eaton Hall. The Queen has been informed and tonight sent a personal condolence on behalf of the Royal family.
