And Ashley James was portraying this to perfection as she showed off her assets in a stunning new shoot portraying herself as a 'modern day pin-up'.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the 28-year-old blogger and radio host discussed female empowerment before revealing she was avoiding men for the next six months to prevent them 'dragging her down'.
Ashley proved herself to be the perfect modern day pin-up girl in the smouldering black and white shoot, in which she exhibited yet another string to her vast bow.
One of the boldest images saw Ashley sporting a tiny black bikini layered beneath a shearling coat with her hair styled into a flawless blonde waves and large gold hoops giving a Seventies feel to the look.
The stunning shoot also saw Ashley slip into a Baywatch style swimming costume as she gazed into the distance, borrowing from the Nineties in her 'through the ages' pin-up looks.
Other sultry images from the shoot saw her rock a skin-tight acid wash mini dress which struggled to contain her chest before she changed into a chic getup comprising of a shirt knotted at the waist and high-rise flares.
