Can Kate outdazzle her lookalike? How the Duchess of Cambridge will fare against her super-glam double - aka Canada's first lady - in next week's style showdown (unless they wear the SAME outfit)

As the Cambridges head to Canada for seven days, Duchess Kate will be up against first lady Sophie Gregoire Trudeau in the style stakes. 


The two often emulate the other in lace, pastels and jaunty hats. Both have shown a penchant for flowing white skirts, shown centre, and opted for veils on their respective wedding days, shown top right. They've even matched hairstyles, bottom right, when going for a bolder choice in colour, pulling their hair into ponytails when wearing red. The pair have both worn hats at jaunty angles, shown bottom left, for special occasions and even have similar photos with their husbands, shown embracing tenderly, top left. They have similar styles but the Canadian first lady is much more ebullient and even a bit of a show-off, and as a former television presenter, she may not be too concerned about outshining the quieter Duchess.
