David Cameron's plan was clear he would stand down as Prime Minister and MP in 2018, leaving Downing Street with his reputation intact and as a winner not a loser.
However since his resignation after Remain lost the EU referendum, Cameron is said to be a broken man. Missing the trappings of power and embittered by the Brexit betrayal of those he considered close friends- the change from Prime Minister to lowly MP has hit him hard. Turning his back on an illustrious career in politics, it is believed he will follow his wife to New York where she will set up her own fashion label.
