Making a splash! Bikini-clad Katharine McPhee shows off her incredible beach body as she goes for a swim in Miami

She is known for setting hearts aflutter on the little screen. 

But Katharine McPhee proved she is even more adept at catching attention on the beach as she took in the sun and sea on Sunday in Miami.

The 32-year-old star nearly spilled out of her tiny bikini top as she left very little to the imagination in her skimpy attire.

The American Idol alum donned the skimpy black and white patterned two-piece that bared a generous helping of cleavage. 

Her bottoms featured black straps of varying width on a white field. Between the straps were intricate black and white designs.

Katharine's top barely contained her bulging décolletage and was splashed with black spots, as well as a swirling pattern that ran up the straps.
