Boy, 8, who lost his legs and hands to meningitis as a baby takes up martial arts - without using his prosthetic legs
Marshall Janson, eight, from Cornwall, had his legs and hands amputated as a baby and was once described as the sickest child a doctor had ever seen.
But he has since refused to let his disability hold him back - taking up Jiu-Jitsu in his spare time. The schoolboy became hooked on the sport after watching it with his father, Moss, 39. He was given the chance to go backstage at UFC 204 in Manchester where he met champion fighter Michael Bisping. While he was there, he was allowed in the ring to show off some of his new-found moves in front of 10,000 spectators. Marshall who does not use his prosthetic legs during the classes said: 'I got to see the two main fighters and it felt awesome.'
