Four-month-old baby boy born with severe heart condition dies in his mother's arms - just after she vowed to make every moment of his life count

A four-month-old boy from Melbourne, who was born with a severe heart condition, has passed away peacefully in his mother's arms overnight, after doctors gave him months at the most to live. 


His mother Melissa Lovf (left) had been raising money via a Go Fund Me page to help Mikey (right) enjoy his last few weeks as much as he could. In a Facebook post (inset) she said: 'It's hard to find words, however our Mikey passed away this morning in bed with me and in my arms with no pain just love wrapped around him.' Mikey's funeral will be held on Friday at 1pm at Altona Memorial Park in Laverton North.
