'Furious' Gloria Hunniford is left humiliated as ITV apologises to Ched Evans after she said he was the 'last person that she would send her grandchildren to for sex education'

During Monday's episode of TV show Loose Women, the presenter, 76, said that Mr Evans, the footballer cleared of rape, was the 'last person she would send her grandchildren to for sex education.' Three days later, broadcasting bosses appeared to have bowed to legal threats from the Evans camp. 


Her fellow presenter Ruth Langsford yesterday read out a statement apologising to the Evans family after they complained and threatened legal action against ITV and the show.
