CAC president commissions first entrepreneurial Church in Osun State

The President, Christ Apostolic Church (Worldwide), Pastor Abraham Olukunle Akinosun has commissioned the first entrepreneurial church in Osun State, where he gave kudos to Elder and Deaconess Akin Ogunbiyi for dedicating the place of worship to the body of Christ.


Last Sunday at the dedication, christened “City of Praise,” the first Christ Apostolic Entrepreneurial Church in Ile Ogbo, Aiyedire Local Government, Osun State to Christ, Pastor Akinosun thanked the Lord for the grace given to the donor; the “vessel of honour” behind the establishment of the religious centre.

Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi said: “Today, I am indeed blessed to be the vessel to offer this fulsome praise by way of a parish of the Christ Apostolic Church that will impact lives. As David said in 1 Chronicles 28 verse 11 and 12: ‘Thine, O LORD is the greatness and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come from thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might, and in thine hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all…

“We all have a mandate to give our best through selfless contributions. We must excel with passion. This church is established for the flourishing of Ile Ogbo community and beyond. We will grow and develop the human capital that is here and change the narrative that people are the solution, not the problem.“We are determined to change the top-down model of materialistic fixes, doling out money, giving donations and distributing gifts.

We will tap into the bottom-up sources of abundance that GOD has deposited in this community. We will develop individuals and groups and set them on the course of creative service. Our members will recreate themselves and unleash their extraordinary potentials. We will overcome our fear, challenges and failure. With bravery, perseverance and honesty, we will embrace value-delivering innovation.”

The dedication service was attended by eminent members of Christ Apostolic Church (Worldwide), traditional rulers, professionals, captains of industries, academics, political leaders, as well as friends and associates of Elder and Deaconess Akin Ogunbiyi.
