As part of activities to celebrate its third anniversary, Nigeria’s largest online mall, Konga.com, has rewarded about 70 loyal customers across the country with free shopping vouchers through its Customer Appreciation Programme. The Customer Appreciation Programme celebrates individuals that have been loyal shoppers on Konga since it began operations in 2012. According to Konga’s Director Mr. Mayowa Adebayo leading the Customer Experience Team, “We know that our customers are a key contributor to our many successes as a business. We are truly grateful to all Nigerians that have embraced Konga and chosen us as their preferred online shopping mall. To show our appreciation, 70 customers received free shopping vouchers from N5,000 to N20, 000 as part of the initiative. “The customer is at the heart of everything we do. All our continued innovations, rapid expansion, qualittative service delivery, our 24/7 customer support, manned by highly trained and capable staff are all aimed at delighting our customers”. While speaking on the customers’ response to the kind gesture, Adebayo said, “Some of the vouchers were personally delivered to customers across Lagos by department heads and vice presidents from Konga.com on July 22, 2015. At these presentations, the customers were thrilled to receive the delegates and lauded Konga on the quality of its merchandise, excellent customer service and timely delivery of purchased goods.” One of the winners, Sonia Nwakanma, commented, “Konga is my best online mall for shopping; their customer service and delivery time are the best when compared to other online malls. I adore Konga and would keep shopping from them.” Another recipient, Kechicka Obianelli, an Outlet Manager at Visafone, also appreciated Konga for the shopping voucher and for always delivering quality services. Olawunmi Tawose, another beneficiary appreciated Konga for the shopping voucher and commended Konga for efficient delivery services and quality of goods. In her words, “It is convenient to shop for whatever I need from the corners of my home and I buy things ranging from baby potty to generating sets and other products majorly used as gifts to friends and family. I thank Konga for the shopping voucher and will continue to purchase from them.” “I like to buy my fragrances, jewelry and makeup and cosmetics from Konga, their prices and delivery time are fantastic and I get my products delivered in good time. When Konga started, the ecommerce site sold beauty and baby care products. The site experienced very rapid growth in just 3 years and today Konga has over 17 vibrant product categories, with over 200,000 products now listed for sale on the site.
