Thomas Thwaites, a 34-year-old researcher from London, has spent the past year creating prosthetics that allow him to roam around on all fours. He's studied goat behaviour, learned their way of communication and even attempted to create an artificial goat stomach to allow him eat grass. His efforts, funded by the government, recently culminated in a three day trip to the Swiss Alps, where he lived as a goat, roaming the hills with a herd. He said that the project was aimed at exploring a 'simpler way of life' using technology.
