She.Leads.Africa to host SheHive at The Motherland Mogul Week


She.Leads.Africa, an organization focused on empowering young African women is set to host SheHive, the first pop-up co-working space focused on ambitious young African women at the Motherland Mogul Week from September 20 – 25 in Lagos, Nigeria.
The Motherland Mogul Week is a week-long women-focused programme which includes activities such as She.Leads.Africa Bootcamp, Welcome Reception, Entrepreneur Showcase and of course the SheHive.
The SheHive, which is a fun community space to work and build businesses, connect and develop relationships and much more, will be filled with different exciting and eye-opening workshops and sessions where various speakers such as MD, Kaymu Nigeria, Evangeline Wiles; Head of Corporate Banking, Stanbic IBTC, Yewande Sadiku; Founder, LEAP Africa, Ndidi Nwuneli and so on will be speaking on topics such as “Joining a Global Startup”, “Building Your Brand”, “Website design for Startups” and lots more.
Admission into the SheHive isn’t free, as interested participants are expected to purchase an All Access Pass or Day Pass, with the former, which cost NGN10,000 providing participants with full access to the venue and all activities for the entire week including evening events, and the latter, which cost NGN5,000 providing participants access for one day of workshops and programs.
Also part of the Motherland Mogul Week is the She.Leads.Africa Bootcamp, which is a specialized program designed to assist brilliant entrepreneurs in refining their ideas, have targeted customer feedback and a polished pitch presentation to help them secure their place in top pitch competitions, accelerators and investors meetings.
The She.Leads.Africa Bootcamp, which will cost NGN60,000 and provide participants with full access to the SheHive, will be taught by two entrepreneurs turned investors and will feature sessions from local and international investors from 500 Startups, Seedstars World amongst others.
And bringing the week-long programme to a close is the She.Leads.Africa Entrepreneur Showcase, where six finalists – Beauty Rev NG, Heat Free Hair Movement, Heels in the Kitchen, InstaHealth, Kamokin and Omo Alata Foods, will be pitching to an international and local array of judges for a chance to claim the top prize of US$10,000.
She.Leads.Africa was founded by Afua Osei and Yasmin Belo-Osagie with the aim of ensuring that female entrepreneurs are part of Africa’s growth story.
