Less than five weeks to the October 31, 2015 deadline set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for bank customers to register and obtain bank verification numbers, about 32 million of them have yet to do so. This is according to the latest data from the Nigerian Interbank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS). 19 million people have registered for BVN which is much lower than forecast.
