Yet the comedian and actor remained silent about the true identity of his biological father - and it has remained a mystery, until now. The Mail on Sunday has established that Lenny (left), 57, was the product of a passionate and illicit love affair between Albert (centre), known to his friends as Bertie, and Lenny's Jamaican-born mother Winnie (top right) - a married mother of four at the time.
