Ray J 'Engaged' To Girlfriend Princess Love Who Was Once Arrested For Assaulting Him

His relationships have had more ups and downs than a seesaw, but looks like this hip hop star is about ready to settle down. On Friday, Ray J's on and off again girlfriend, Princess Love, revealed that she and her musician beau were engaged.

The Love And Hip Hop star slyly revealed her big news when interviewed on the red carpet at the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta, Georgia, Friday night.#

When Princess was asked by blog The Shade Room if she and the the 34-year-old singer were getting married, she at first said they would have to ask Ray J before dropping a big hint

In an Instagram snippet of their interview, Princess says: 'I'm going to let him tell you. I'm going to let him tell you [but] I actually forgot to put my ring on today.'

And what a ring it is. 

While the giant bit of bling did not make it down the red carpet, in two of her recent Instagram pictures a big diamond can be seen on her wedding finger. 

The ring features what appears to be a yellow teardrop cut diamond framed by not one, but two, rows of smaller square cut diamonds which also continue around the ring's band. 

Ray J has so far not confirmed the news but he also posted a snap showing off Princess' ring. 

The couple have been dating since last year but have hardly had a smooth relationship.

The volatile pair have been caught fighting and breaking up numerous time on their VH1 reality show Love And Hip Hop Hollywood.

They even left the series briefly to focus on their relationship.

But it seems their fights are more than just hurtful words and the occasional bottle of water tipped over their head.

In February, Princess - who is was a stripper but now is a fashion designer - was arrested after she allegedly attacked Ray at a New Orleans hotel. 

According to TMZ, a security guard called 911 after finding Ray J running down the hotel's halls bleeding.

He ended up with broken ribs, a split lip and torn ACL while a witness claimed Princess screamed, 'I'm gonna kill you.'

She was booked for domestic abuse and battery but released after Ray J paid her bail.
