Twitter is currently rolling out native video support for app’s running the latest version of Twitter Kit on iOS 8 and later. What this means is, you (on iOS) wouldn’t have to launch your Twitter app or open a new tab/window just to watch a Twitter video clips or GIFs that’s within the social network. You can just experience the whole thing (video or GIFs) as a fullscreen video playback within the app you have running. Support for Android to arrive in no time.
