English Heritage has shortlisted six designs for a new £4million footbridge linking Tintagel Castle to the Cornish mainland and will span 72 metres across 'one of the most spectacular historic sites in Britain'. The site attracts 200,000 visitors a year and is reputedly the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur (depicted by Clive Owen in the popular 2004 film).
