Consumer Internet Company, Iconway Launches Hyper-Local Delivery Service


Iconway, a consumer Internet company has announced the launch of Padi, a hyper-local delivery service for products delivery in 90 minutes or less.
Padi (which is Yoruba for ‘my friend’) allows people to order products from stores in their neighbourhood and have them delivered to their doorsteps within 90 minutes.


Consumers can shop for everyday items such as groceries, fruits & vegetables, bay products, mobile and computer accessories, office supplies and cosmetics seamlessly and quickly through Padi’s uniquely designed web app.
“We want to help consumers better enjoy the benefits of online shopping with speedy deliveries from local stores around their homes and offices,” Founder of Iconway, Oduntan Odubanjo said in a press release made available to TechLoy.
He added, “Our goal is to help people save time and take away stress that comes with getting things they need. We also want to help retail merchants do more business with the power of the Internet.”
To achieve its mission, Padi has partnered key leading stores including Baker’s World, Eat Rite Fruits, Licious Desserts and Oasis Supermarkets.
The service will be available in Lagos State capital, Ikeja although plans are underway to launch Padi in other cities in Lagos and Nigeria.
Iconway, founded in 2012 and based in Ikeja, has interests in mobile, media, commerce and advertising platforms with a portfolio that include Kokofeeds, Newspepa and Nigerian Monitor.
