Midnight breastfeeds may be keeping Kim Kardashian awake, but her conscience certainly won't be.
Because the new mum decided to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to the Soles 4 Souls charity in the middle of the night after feeling emotional over a television show.
Kim, who gave birth to son Saint West on Saturday, launched a late night bid on Twitter to help and find the Hurricane Katrina survivor behind a campaign to collect a staggering number of shoes by Christmas as thank you to the charity.
'I'm up breastfeeding & watching this show Dish Nation,' Kim tweeted to her 37.6M followers on Wednesday night.
'I heard the cutest story of a girl who is trying to find 1000 pairs of shoes to donate to this charity Soles For Souls! They helped her during Hurricane Katrina. I think I know the designer of Shoe of the Year Award!'
Then, in a show of support, Kim suddenly decided: 'Kanye and I would love to donate those 1000 shoes to Soles For Souls.'
Kim then spent time asking her followers to help her find the girl behind the campaign so that she could let her know the shoes were on their way.
Hinting that her husband was awake with her, she added: 'So whoever you are ....these shoes are for you! We will contact Soles For Souls! You reached your goal, so proud of you!!! xoxox'
Soles 4 Souls was founded as a disaster relief organisation to accommodate the outpouring of support following 2004's The Indian Ocean tsunami that saw shoe executives and philanthropists providing footwear and clothing to help survivors.
Between Kim and her four sisters Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall and Kylie, the Kardashian family has quite the shoe collection.
Kim's shoes are thought to be among some of the hardest working in showbiz after she insisted on wearing perspex designs during both of her pregnancies, leading to some notable fashion failures.
But her husband is also responsible for causing something of a footwear revolution with his collaboration with Nike.
Nike's Yeezy sneakers are a favourite among celebrity crowds, including Justin Bieber, Brooklyn Beckham, Chris Brown and even Jonah Hill.
The reality TV star, who is already mum to two-year-old North West, welcomed her second child with Kanye this weekend.
She made the announcement on Twitter using cute emojis featuring a little girl and a little boy, as well as a man and a woman, following an official post on her website.
