British Make-Up Artist Spent 5 Hours A Day Applying Leonardo Dicaprio's Gruesome Bear Attack Wounds For The Revenant (And Now They're Both Up For An Oscar)

A photo of make-up artist Duncan Jarman from Watford, Hertfordshire applying Leonardo DiCaprio's gruesome bear attack wounds has been viewed more than 2.8 million times on Imgur (left).

The actor plays fur trapper Hugo Glass (right top and bottom) in The Revenant who is left for dead by his comrades after the vicious attack. 

Duncan and his team were required to create wounds over his entire body that could both bleed and be stitched up on camera.
