Almost every time the actress appears in a full skirt on a red carpet - be it in Tokyo, London or Los Angeles - she swirls her skirt, knocking decades off her age and shaving inches off her hips.
The effect can be seen in these pictures from last week (top left), once last November (main) and twice in October (top right and bottom left) - although sometimes it might not quite work (bottom right, from February 2015) Even so, what better way to show that at 70, you've still got attitude, that you're still a trailblazer, that you're still vibrant, than to practically dance down the red carpet, writes ALYSON WALSH.
