Premiership: Leicester 3-0 Stoke

The droughts are over in Leicester. Jamie Vardy scored his first goal in eight games, Danny Drinkwater for almost two years and having gone exactly six hours without a goal at the King Power Stadium, Claudio Ranieri watched his team rattle in three in 48 minutes.

They are back on top of the table and the unlikeliest of all title challenges is not disappearing any time soon.
So many obituaries have been written about Leicester's challenge, you half-expected Stoke City to come in and do a job. But there was never any chance of that happening, even before their captain Ryan Shawcross limped off after half-an-hour.

Leicester's dynamic duo Vardy and Riyad Mahrez were excellent again but they were not the only ones. Shinji Okazaki got a deserved standing ovation when he came off in the second half, Marc Albrighton was a constant threat on the left while Drinkwater outshone them all, and deserved his first goal since April 2014 when Leicester were still in The Championship.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are up next and if Leicester can get a decent return from those matches, even the non-believers may shift their stance. At the moment, Foxes fans are enjoying their bafflement.
'We're gonna win the league' they sung one moment. 'We are staying up' the next.
