A place for shed loads of work! Children's author turns a back garden shed at his suburban London home into a 'writing cabin' in with a wood burner and library
The stunning 'Writer's Shed' was designed for a children's author and illustrator by architects Weston Surman & Deane Architecture, and inspired by the owner's passion for children's literature and mythology.
Measuring around 16 by 13ft, the tiny cabin boasts an impressive bookcase which reaches around the wood-burning stove (main image) and provides a secret haven for the unnamed writer to work from behind his home in Hackney, east London.
