But Ronda (inset as a child) saw her mother and friends practicing judo - and couldn't resist the urge to try it. As for that sexy Sports Illustrated swimsuit shoot (left) - De Mars admits she had no idea her champion fighting daughter was going to do it but likes what she sees.
'Like how to they do that to make it look like she's wearing a costume? It's amazing. I thought it looked really good,' she says.
