Sarah Vine was invited to Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall's nuptials. She was completely stuck on what to wear, and panic-bought a lot of clothes.
In the end she chose to wear what made her feel comfortable. She says that she looked neither fashionable nor especially glamorous - but that she felt happy.
Sarah's initial outfit attempts included a lot of hats from Jane Taylor London, pictured left, along with a Gerald Darel jacket that she bought last season and her friend who worked in fashion recommended, also pictured left.
She then tried a Bruce Oldfield jacket from John Lewis, bedecked with black-and-white flowers, pictured in the middle. Eventually she settled for a gold coat that she had made for the occasion by small Gloucestershire company Shibumi, along with silk culottes, H&M silk shirt and New Look shoes.
