Police were searching Wednesday for the parents of a newborn baby girl who was found in the yard of a suburban couple in Phoenix, Arizona, with her umbilical cord attached, pictured left.
The seven-pound, eight-ounce baby, whom the police are calling 'Baby Jane,' was found on Tuesday morning by the son of locals James and Roseanne McCulloh, couple pictured top right and the home bottom right.
Rosanne said that he found the infant in a baby carrier on top of an irrigation box.
'I saw him jump 20 feet, and he said "There's a baby in it," ' she recalled. 'I ran over there.
She wasn't blue. I touched her little arm, and I opened up the blanket. She was just beautiful.'
